[Ferro-Alloys.com] In recent period, imported manganese ore spot prices in China kept unchanged shipment of global miners. Australian Mn46 lumps are currently focused on RMB33.5-34.5/mtu andRMB33-33.5/mtu for Mn48 sand ore. South African Mn38 lumps are pricing at RMB28.5-29.5/mtu while RMB32-33/mtu for Mn32%Fe20%. Gabonese Mn 45-46 lumps are now lingered about RMB31.5-32.5/mtu while RMB30-31/mtu for Brazilian Mn 44-45 lumps.

As respect of new round future quotation, it is reported that BHP put December manganese ore shipment to China level off on the basis of November. Mn45.5% Fe<5% lump ore was pegged at USD4.53/mtu and USD4.15/mtu for Mn43% Fe<5% Gabonese sand ore. Meanwhile, it is said that Eramet Comilog already put new round manganese ore shipment to China. Mn43% Fe<5% Gabonese sand ore was priced at USD4.15/mtu while USD4.35/mtu for Mn44-45% Fe<5%(CIF, China) lump ore which all basically in line with November. CML also put December manganese ore shipment to China unchanged from prior month, Australian Mn46% Fe6% SI14% P0.05% lump ore maintained at USD4.68/mtu(CIF, China).

In general, since operation rates for manganes alloys kept on the decease, demand for imported manganese ore growth in China also slow down.
