So, the nickel market was in downturn. By the end of trading, LME nickel was quoted at 17900 USD/T. It was 90 USD/T higher than the price on last Friday. Due to fall of LME nickel price, the price of Shanghai future nickel went down sharply in the morning. The traders were positive in the market. Compared with Shanghai future nickel 1910 contract, the discount of Russian nickel was 100-200 RMB/T, and the premium of Jinchuan nickel was 200-400 RMB/T. Today, Jinchuan quoted its electrolytic nickel at 145800 RMB/T, it was 1700 RMB/T lower than the price yesterday.

Due to downturn of nickel market, the price of stainless steel did not rise up today, so did the ferronickel price.It remained stable today. The high grade ferronickel was quotd at 1150-1170 RMB/Nickel.The low grade ferronickel was 3250-3300 RMB/T.
