Steel ex works price downslide swells in Hebei province

It is reported that ex works prices in Hebei province present a continuous downtrend and it tends to swell on the track, reflecting domestic demand dwindling on the economic recession at home and overseas.
 
According to data with the National Bureau of Statistics, the September ex-works price of the province slid by 3.72% or 2.85% point from the previous month.
 
As per report, the picked up four series of products in the survey are all found showing a decline with their ex-works prices, iron-making products, steel-making products, steel rolling processing product and ferroalloy smelting product seeing a decline of 2.1%, 4.16%, 3.62% and 0.32% respectively.
 
In terms of product on specific, medium steel plate, common carbon billet, steel strip and quality carbon structural steel and wire rod are among the greatest downslide, dwindling 11.06%, 8%, 4.98%, 4.16% and 3.47% respectively opposed to August. (Source: Hebei Daily)
