China exported 6.67 million tons steels in September, 1.01 million tons less than that in August, the record high due to the falling of the demand for steels on international and domestic market affected by the slump of the world's economy.
China's steels production also grows negatively in 2008. China's steels output totaled 399.82 million tons in the first eight months of this year, up 10.1 percent year-on-year, the growth was 14 percentage points lower than that in the same 2007 period.
The steels output stood at 47.8 million tons in August, down 6.3 percent from that in July and 0.2 percent from the same 2007 period, 25 percentage points lower than that in the same 2007 period.
It is predicted that the export and output of steels will continue to fall in the next a few months.
