[Ferro-alloys.com] Moly oxide and ferromoly prices continued to drift in the US and Europe. With fewer consumers buying on a spot basis, traders and producers are vying for small businesses. One major producer reportedly has started to target US foundries, much to the surprise of smaller traders who are used to having the foundry market to themselves. A major US mill reportedly was able to purchase two truckloads of FeMo at under $12.50 per lb. A European consumer paid $27.35 per kg for FeMo. Oxide prices slipped to $11-11.15 per lb compared to $11.20-11.30. One trader reported a consumer oxide sale at $10.85 per lb but it could not be confirmed.
