Futures and options average daily volumes on the London Metal Exchange (LME) hit a 10-year peak in the second quarter, jumping 27% year on year, the exchange said on Thursday.

At the beginning of June, the market quickly fell below the limit, and then continued to slide and consolidate, returning to rationality.

The total trading volume of 2409 contract on the exchange was 101401 lots, with a turnover of about 3579.2045 million yuan.
