According to Japan Customs Import&export Statistics: In April, Japan import silicon metal 13647.006 ton, increased by 16.6% M-O-M, and up by 7.8% Y-O-Y, while from Jan to Apr, Japan have imported silicon metal 59628.639 mt, increased by 12.8% Y-O-Y.

Companhia de Ferro Ligas da Bahia (Ferbasa), a ferroalloy producer in Brazil this time has announced its sales volume of ferroalloys in April 2015.

According to statistic of National Bureau of Statistics of China, the ferrosilicon production in March 2015 was 371397 tons, up by 9% M-O-M and decreased by 14.6% Y-O-Y. The total production in Q1 2015 was 1.133 million tons, down by 17% Y-O-Y.

Latest statistics of China Customs showed exports of Chinese ferrosilicon were 18,387 mt in March 2015, registering slump of 41.5% from 31,422 mt of February 2015 and also large decline of 27.5% from 25,360 mt of March 2014.
