India's crude steel production fell by 10.6 per cent to 99.6 million tonnes (MT) in 2020, according to the worldsteel.

According to the German Iron and Steel Union (WV Stahl) data, German crude steel production rose 10.7% to 3.14 million tons in December 2020.

In December 2020, U.S. steel mills shipped 7,049,785 net tons, a 4.4 percent increase from the 6,753,447 net tons shipped in the previous month.

The increase took overall shipments for the last year to 407mn, slightly higher than a government-set target for the year of 400mn t.

In 2020, the total output of vanadium pentoxide was 19.5 mlb, a decrease of 3% from the same period last year. (Total production in 2019 is 2020 mlb)

Aim-listed vanadium miner Bushveld Minerals has achieved a 24% year-on-year increase in vanadium production from its high-grade assets in South Africa.

Vale released its 2020 production and sales report, which said that in 2020, Vale iron ore production accumulated 300.4 million tons, flat with 2019. In the fourth quarter of 2020, Vale ore production was 84.5 million tons, down 5% from the previous quarter.

According to the report of Brazilian Steel Association(IABr), Brazil crude steel production was 2.9 million tonnes in December 2020, an increase of 17.2% from a year earlier.
