[Ferro-Alloys.com] According to data released by Japan’s Ministry of Finance, the country’s exports of stainless steel scraps totaled 12,130 tons in November, jumping by 35.7% from a month ago.
The country’s export prices of stainless steel scraps averaged at ¥121,476/ton in November, falling by 5.3% from October.
In November, Korea was the largest importer of the Japanese stainless steel scraps with 11,271 tons, soaring by 42.1%; Taiwan was the second largest one with 470 tons, surging by 1.7 times and China was the third largest one with 368 tons, falling by 8.2%, all compared to the figures in a month ago.
In the January-November period, Japan’s exports of stainless steel scraps amounted to 150,571 tons.
