[Ferro-Alloys.com] Manganese ore Manganese ore exports reported a sharp increase year-on-year in March on increased trade with China and Ukraine. Exports totalled 102,024 tonnes in the month, compared with 19,705 tonnes in March 2013. Revenues in March amounted to $15.89 million, compared with $3.63 million in the corresponding period last year. China and Ukraine acquired 48,548 tonnes and 45,779 tonnes respectively in March, from no trade a year earlier. Total exports for the first quarter amounted to 324,461 tonnes, compared with 362,764 tonnes in the first three months of 2013.
