Ammonium paratungstate (APT) prices ticked up in Europe as market participants reported generally higher offers and at least one seller achieved an extraordinarily high price.

 

It was reported on Friday that 20 tonnes were sold in Europe at $400 per mtu for prompt delivery, although it is not yet clear whether this is repeatable. Several other containers were also sold at higher prices earlier in the week, and market participants have said demand could increase in the near term.
