[Ferro-Alloys.com]The 11^th China Ferro-alloys International Conference & Metallurgical Exhibition opened on the 14^th -16^th, May, 2014 in V-Continent Beijing Parkview Wuzhou Hotel, which was co-hosted by China Chamber of Commerce of Metals Minerals & Chemicals Importers & Exporters (CCCMC) & Ferro-alloys.com.

The problem of employment had become a current hot issue. On the 11th China Ferro-alloys International Conference, Mr Wu Ge, head of Monetary Policy Department of the People’s Bank of China, delivered some brilliant insights on this problem. He pointed out the government always tried to maintain a high economic growth to ensure employment. However, as China was coming into an aging society, quantity of labor force declined and employment pressure was much smaller than imagined. It was not necessary to maintain a high economic growth at present. There was not much room to adjust population by policy. Lower GDP growth target could leave some space for economic structure transformation.
