[Ferro-Alloys.com] Calcium silicon market ran stable in China. Mainstream ex-work price of CaSi30# was RMB11,600-11,800/mt FOB (USD1,902-1,934, export duty excluded) and 28# was RMB11,300-11,500/mt (USD1,853-1,885, export duty excluded). The export prices were: CaSi30#USD2,180-2,200/mt FOB, CaSi28# USD2,100-2,130/mt FOB at Tianjin port.

Most CaSi products were supplied to old clients and new orders were hard to get. Meanwhile, CaSi manufacturers worked normally and the capacity utilization rate was good. In terms of export market, there were few inquiries to get and the transaction was not that active even CaSi export prices hang upside down seriously.

On the inactive demand from downstream industries, it’s thought that CaSi price may hard to increase and the market may last the stable condition and the weak export condition might have less change in a short time.
