[Ferro-Alloys.com] According to the latest figures from the Brazil’s foreign trade department, Brazil's iron ore exports soared by 13% to 29.5 million tons in June compared to the same month in 2013.
On the annual basis, the export revenues dropped to US$2.3 billion from US$2.5 billion, down by 11%. Average iron ore prices also declined to US$78.2/ton from US$99.2/ton compared to the corresponding month last year.
The country’s iron ore exports totaled 26.10 million tons during June 2013.
