United Manganese of Kalahari (UMK) is a South African company, mining manganese in the John Taolo Gaetsewe District Municipality in the Northern Cape Province of South Africa. The mine is situated 13km south of Hotazel, 42km north of Kathu and 80km north west of Kuruman.

UMK is strategically located with good access to rail infrastructure, and has a state of the art load out station to enable rapid train loading.

UMK sells its products in both the local and export markets.
