[Ferro-Alloys.com] Low sale but high production cost put silicon manganese producers in Hunan still in trouble. Some put silicon manganese6517 at as low as RMB5,850/mt (without VAT by cash, the same as below). Meanwhile, mainstream ex-work price of 6014 in Hunan concentrated on RMB5,200-5,250/mt  Non-standard silicon manganese 50 was quoted at RMB4,500/mt while RMB4,900/Mmt for 55# and RMB5,050-5,100/mt for 58#.

In addition, unchangeable power price through the year with RMB0.56-0.58/KWH also made producers in local area have less advantage comparing to other main production bases in China. Therefore, the operation rates for silicon mangense in Hunan area still put at low level.
