[Ferro-Alloys.com]It is reported that silicon manganese 6014 in Hunan was quoted at RMB5,200/mt (without VAT by cash, the same as below), and transaction prices were concentrated on RMB5,150-5,180/mt. The situation in Guizhou seemed to become more complicated with chaos quotation from RMB5,070/mt to RMB5,150/mt. In fact, poor sale already made only several of silicon manganese plants maintain operation. In Guangxi, price of silicon manganese 6014 remained at RMB5,030-5,130/mt, only those with good quality can put price as high as RMB5,150/mt.

In general, low sale put most silicon manganese suppliers on the verge of suffering loss. Despite increasing number of producers were forced to reduce output, slowing comsuming would be hard to ease suppliers’ pressure in the near future.
