0n August 25，the first 20 t of the material were produced at shop No.4 of the new ferroalloy plant in Aktobe，owned by KZCR. The asset a yearly capacity of 440，000 tpy of HC FeCr and is equipped with four 72 MVA electric arc furnaces. 0nly one unit is functional right now， whereas the others are scheduled for launch in the near future. The plant construction cost $843 million. The company is also planning to commission MC FeCr production at the B0F shop and construct an electric power station to recycle ferroalloy gases.

KZCR is a subsidiary of ENRC and incorporates Donskoy Mining Plant，Kazmarganets Mining Enterprise， Aksu Ferroalloy Plant and Aktobe Ferroalloys Plant.
