[Ferro-alloys.com] Chinese Si553# prices slightly increased, although other Silicon metal prices kept steady in early September.

Quotations were as follows: Kunming delivered price for silicon off-grade 553#, RMB12,000/mt(USD1,954/mt); Sichuan ,RMB12,500/mt(USD2,035/mt), delivered to Chinese port. Off-grade Si553# prices were RMB12,500-12,700/mt(USD2,035-2,068/mt), ex-work price including tax, higher than other areas, due to high electricity cost.
