[Ferro-Alloys.com]It is said that silicon manganese 6014 in Tuandeng area of Guangxi dipped to RMB5,020/mt (without VAT by cash, the same as below) from RMB5,050/mt in prior period. Meanwhile, given increasing difficulity in selling with RMB5,150/mt, produers in Qunzhou area put 6014 lower to RMB1,100-5,130/mt. In fact, apart from flat sale,rising production cost also added pressure on suppliers, resulting in operation rates less than 50% with only five out of eleven furnaces in normal running.
