As lowering operation rates in local area, those suppliers with limited spot supply even attempted to lift up quotation slightly.  In fact, apart from reducing market supply, rising trend for future price of imported manganese ore is another reason to lead several producers to push up ex-work price. However, given flat demand, most suppliers still put price unchanged.

In conclusion, since downtrend market failed to show pick up, it is estimated that rich manganese slag market would likely to sustain poor performance in the near future.
