[Ferro-Alloys.com]A significant decline for LME nickel price was seen on Monday. A five-month low at $16,955/t was created yesterday, with a closed price at $16,980/t, down 4.47%. This is due to the worry from the investors that China’s government would slow down the stimulus policy . Currently, the LME nickel price experienced a fall by 15% over the last ten business days. Official data recently released showed that the growth of China’s industrial added value reached the lowest since financial crisis in 2008. On the other hand, the rising value of dollar due to the expectation of the end of QE weakened the base metal as well.
