[Ferro-Alloys.com]The nickel price continued to fall after rising in the previous two days. The LME nickel price closed at $17,247/t, down 0.88% all day, with high at $17,480/t and low at $17,212. It is expected that the Chinese steel mills may cut their purchase prices for ferroalloys further due to the poor business. The oversupply of stainless steel poses a great threat to the ferroalloys industry, especially for nickel alloys and chrome alloys. A better time for nickel is not yet to come, only if the steel mills improve their profitability.
