[Ferro-Alloys.com]In the first two weeks of Oct., high carbon FeCr price maintained at RMB6200-6450/mt. the import FeCr also had no changes as South African FeCr was USD0.8-0.81/lb; Kazakhstan FeCr, USD0.88-0.89/lb Cr, and India FeCr was at USD0.82-0.83lb Cr. As FeCr price in Indian further increased for tight supply of Cr ores, Indian exporters was not active for the sales to China. In short term, the price might be stable. For the power cost advantage, South African FeCr would continue to pressure on Chinese producers.

In Europe, the FeCr price with ferrochrome (Cr 60-65% C6-8%) being declined to USD1.02（-0.02）-1.08（-0.02）/lb Cr and the material with Cr60-70%, C 0.1% being USD2.08-2.15/lb Cr. In US, FeCr (Cr60-65% C6-8%), USD1.14（-0.01）-1.17（-0.01/lb Cr; FeCr (Cr 65%min C0.05%max), USD2.25-2.3（+0.02）/lb Cr; FeCr (Cr62%min C0.1%max) , USD2.1（+0.02）-2.14/lb Cr.

Low carbon ferrochrome price stayed standard as LC FeCr(C25) was quoted at RMB11700-11900/60mt, C10 was RMB12000-12200/60mt and C6 was RMB12200-12400/60mt(ex-works price with tax).The chromium metal in both European and Chinese market remained at USD9300-9625/mt and RMB58000-61000/mt respectively.
