It is an international trading company directly owned by the China National Nuclear Corporation (CNNC) and authorized to carry out import and export trade of uranium products, nuclear fuel cycle and nuclear power and technology equipment.
In the 1980s, under the system of planned economy, Chinese calcium metal was mainly exported by CNEIC. Export officials disclosed recently that calcium metal market was not good at present and it exported only about 100 mt every month. The company mainly provided nuclear fuel currently.
