[Ferro-alloys.com] According to the statistics of Korea Customs, Korea’s ferroalloy import volume was 92,177 mt in September 2014, nearly the same with that in August and up by 18.6% Y-O-Y. The import sources and volumes were as the followings, South Africa, 18,769 mt; China, 19,162 mt; India, 20,480 mt; Russian Federation, 7,288 mt. The total import volume in Jan-Sep of 2014 was 829,636 mt, up by 7.5% Y-O-Y.

Korea’s ferroalloy export volume was 28,201 mt in September 2014, violently up by 122% Y-O-Y. The total export volume in Jan-Sep of 2014 was 189,376 mt, down by 26.3% Y-O-Y.

The net import volume in September 2014 was 63,976 mt and Jan-Sep of 2014 was 640,260 mt.
