[Ferro-Alloys.com]It is reported that China imported 1.55million tons of manganese ore in September according to Chinese Customs Statistics, representing a small rising from the preceding month 1.44 million tons.

In terms of Suppliers, South Afircan placed the first and sold 522.18 thousand tons in September from 486.7 thousand tons in August. Australia hold the second and supplied 512.8 thousand tons from 551.2 thousan tons. Ghana ranked the third and offering 173.38 thousand tons to China in September from only 39.1 thousand in August. Gabon put the fourth and supplied 171.27 thousand tons to China on the basis of 127.5 thousand in the prior month. Meanwhile, China totally imported 71.9 thousand tons of manganese ore from Malayisa. In addition to that, there are another two counties supplying more than 10 thousand tons of manganese ore to China, including of Brazil and Namibia.

In general, sale pressure for manganese ore in China would be still great since non-performing for alloys coupled with increasing imports for ore.
