[Ferro-alloys.com] According to the investigation of www.ferro-alloys.com，electrolytic manganese metal (EMM) market in China went downward last week. In the manganese triangle area, mainstream ex-work price of manganese flake dropped from RMB12800-13000/mt (USD2065-2097/mt) to RMB12700-12900/mt. Many deals were made at RMB12600-12700/mt actually. In Huangpu Port, export price was still USD2120-2160/mt FOB.

As its major material rude selenium was in shortage earlier this year, production of SeO2 was affected since September. Mainstream ex-work price of 98% SeO2 rose to RMB 275-280/kg (USD44-45/kg) for a period. According to the investigation of www.ferro-alloys.com, SeO2 market went down rationally recently. Ex-work price of 98% SeO2 decreased to RMB 255-265/kg at present. The main use of selenium dioxide was still in EMM industry at present.

Some new capacity was put into production recently and several new projects would be completed soon. Spot supply increased gradually. Supported by high production cost, EMM market was predicted to stay at current level this week.
