[Ferro-Alloys.com]It is reported that China totally imported 1.34 million tons of manganese ore in October according to data provided by Customs Statistics, showing a slight declining from 1.55 million tons in September. In the first ten months, China imported 13.74 million tons, representing roughly 2.7% on the rise on the basis of the same period of last year.

In terms of suppliers, Australia exported 527.9 thousand tons of manganese ore to China in October from 512.8 thousand ton in September. South Africa ranked the second and supplied 464.2 thousand tons from 522.2 thousand tons. Ghana exported 103.1 thousand tons in October from 173.3 thousand tons in September. Meanwhile, Brazil exported 95.9 thousand tons from 52.3 thousand tons. Gabon supplied 93.2 thouand tons from 171.2 thousand tons. In addition, there are another three countries exporting manganese ore excess 10 thousand to China, including Malayisa, Kazakhstan and Namibia.
