[Ferro-alloys.com] According to the investigation of www.ferro-alloys.com，electrolytic manganese metal (EMM) market in China stabilized last week. In the manganese triangle area, mainstream ex-work price of manganese flake stayed around RMB11800-12000/mt (USD1903-1935/mt). In Huangpu Port, export price was USD2030-2070/mt FOB. As comprehensive cost for most manufacturers was above RMB11800/mt, they were reluctant to sell at lower price. Meanwhile, market purchase would increase as late September approached, so market confidence improved.

Selenium dioxide (SeO2) market dropped again. Mainstream ex-work price of 98% SeO2 decreased below RMB 210/kg. The main use of selenium dioxide was still in EMM industry at present.

Current price dropped by RMB1000/mt year-on-year and many manufacturers were in loss. Market price nearly touched bottom and it was likely to keep stable supported by rigid cost.
