Silicon  Manganese prices rose in European market on second half of December, 2014.  Market players were paying more attention to Brazil’s energy crisis, which has already hit other ferro-alloys markets. Productions of ferroalloy in Brazil were effected in most of the plants. Traders indicated that the price of silicon manganese price rose up by EURO20/tm from th previous EURO 810-850 due to the power crisis in Brazil.
