[Ferro-alloys.com]Since end of Nov. in 2014, the low ferronickel price continued to rebound for the tight supply. Up to Mid-Jan. of 2015, the rising trend had already last for one month and a half. Because of the shortage supply and the optimistic expectation for medium and high FeNi, more discontinued enterprises planned to recover the production.

In short term, medium and high FeNi price was hard to go down while it also bore the pressure to improve for the weak conditions of LME Ni and stainless steel. On the whole, the nickel might be optimistic in 2015.

In middle of Jan. of 2015, declining stock and shortage supply expectation of nickel ores still forced many nickel ores traders hold the stock. Despite of the short-term pullback, the medium and high grade nickel ores price would keep the firm situation for the high demand from downstream.

In view of the low grade nickel ores, even though the imports was not much in rainy season, the poor demand made the price and trading exhausted. Even if the low FeNi price had increased by 10.5% in recent two months, it was predicted that the low grade nickel ores price would be hard to recover for the low operating rate of low FeNi.
