[Ferro-alloys.com] Selenium dioxide (SeO2) was one of the major raw materials of electrolytic manganese metal (EMM). Demand from EMM market did not change much recently, but the major material rude selenium was hard to purchase, which elevated SeO2 price. There was enough rude selenium stock at present, but providers were reluctant to sell at current price.

According to the investigation of www.ferro-alloys.com, mainstream ex-work price of 98% SeO2 rose from RMB 210/kg (USD33.9/kg) to RMB 235/kg (USD37.9/kg) to recently. The main use of selenium dioxide was still in EMM industry at present.
