[Ferro-Alloys.com]In recent period, prices of silicon manganese 6014 tumbled RMB50/mt from prior period, and non-standard silicon manganese proved to be in the same situation. Given expanding shutdown or equipment inspectaion for small steel mills and foundry surrounding Anyang of Henan, the situation for silicon manganese would be more severe later. In fact, some silicon manganese producers even force to reluctuant to further push down sale prices, but results still missed expectation.  

Non-standard silicon manganese 50 in Guangxi and Hunan lingered about RMB4,300-4,350/mt by cash without tax while RMB4,680-4,700/mt for 55. As for 58, it was quoted at RMB4,880-4,900/mt in Guangxi Province.

Overall, given poor performance for steel market, it is estimated that non-standard silicon manganese would be hard to show pick up in short term.
