[Ferro-alloys.com] According to the investigation of www.ferro-alloys.com，electrolytic manganese metal (EMM) market was stable this week in China. In the manganese triangle area, mainstream ex-work price of manganese flake stayed at RMB11900-12100/mt (USD1919-1952/mt). In Huangpu Port, export price was still USD2000-2040/mt FOB.

As comprehensive cost for most manufacturers was above RMB11900/mt, they were reluctant to sell at lower price. There was not little transaction as Spring Festival approached. EMM manufacturers stopped production for vocation one by one.

Selenium dioxide (SeO2) market was still hot. Mainstream ex-work price of 98% SeO2 stayed around RMB 235/kg. The main use of selenium dioxide was still in EMM industry at present.

Current price dropped by RMB700/mt year-on-year and many manufacturers were in loss. Market price nearly touched bottom and it was likely to keep stable supported by rigid cost.
