[Ferro-Alloys.com] It is said that the biggest silicon manganese purchaser in China, HBIS plans to purchase 24,720 tons silicon manganese for March from 27,000 tons in Febuary. What’s more, given underperformed situation, the steel mills amis to further cut on silicon manganese with RMB5,900/mt from RMB6,000/mt.

As for ferrmanganse, the mill plans to purchase 820 tons medium carbon ferromanganese 78C2.0 from 1320 tons, increases to 1,540 tons for 78C1.5 on ths basis of 1480 tons. Meanwhile, the company also aims to buy 110 tons of low carbon ferromanganese 80C0.7 and 40 tons of 80C0.4.
