[Ferro-Alloys.com]It was reported by Ferro-Alloys.com that the electrolytic manganese market in China kept weak with ex-work price (including VAT) dropping to RMB11,500-11,600/mt in the main producing districts besides some higher price quoted at RMB11,600-11,700/mt in some large plants. Meanwhile, effected by the dropping price inside and decreased demand outside, the export market price in China has dropped to USD1,800-1,900/mt FOB. Price of SeO2, one of the main raw materials kept at RMB205-210/kg.
TISCO released its April bidding price for EMM at RMB12,300/mt, down by RMB600 compared with that in March. It has obviously suppressed the Chinese EMM market. Therefore, some of the producers has cut or stop production, showing strong will to support the price.
Generally, the price has dropped to a bottom level in recent years, and we expect the price could hover in short term and then bottom up due to decreasing supply.
