[Ferro-Alloys.com]As bidding price of steelmakers on manganese alloys come to surface, the performance of alloys would still hard to optimistic. Given continued falling sale, the confidence of alloy producers become to wane gradually.

Recently, ex-work prices of SiMn6517# centered at RMB5,300-5,500/mt in North of China and RMB5,700/mt in South of China. Meanwhile, the prices for HC FeMn65# and MC FeMn78C1.5 were respectively RMB4,900-5,100/mt and RMB8,500-8,600/mt while LC FeMn80C0.7 stabled at RMB8,800-9,000/mt.

Since the gap between HBIS and Shagang Group purchase on silicon manganese continued to narrow, the quotation differences of silicon manganese in north and south also become small gradually. In fact, the operation rates of manganese alloy still kept at low level as increasing cheap resource in south throng into southern areas. In addition, slack demand also trim manganese alloy output in north due to lowering operation rates.

In general, Chinese manganese alloy performance in April may still miss participants’ anticipation.
