[Ferro-Alloys.com]It is said that there are only two large high carbon ferromanganese companies in Yunnan of China struggling to operation, including of Yunnan Wenshan Donnan Manganese Industry CO.,Ltd and Yunnan Heqing Manganese Industry CO.,Ltd due to contracted demand and low sale. The price of high carbon ferromanganese 75 for Donnan Manganese Industry is currently quoting at RMB5,700/mt from RMB5,900/mty in March.

However, it is reported that two large factories in Shanxi planned to further expand ferromanganese production.  Shanxi Dongfang Resource and Develop company, with 300,000 tons of high carbon ferromanganese production capacity per year, planned to build another furnace and complete in Feb of 2016. Jiaocheng Yiwang Ferroalloy Co;,ltd also expanded production on ferromanganese and EMM to 300,000 tons in 2015.

In short, given severe competition, there is no doubt that Chinese manganese alloy would face trenmendous challenge further.
