[Fellow]Friday 10 April, Minister for climate and environment, Tine Sundtoft, visited Elkem Fiskaa.

The Elkem team welcomed her and she had a tour of Elkem Solar and presentations from Elkem Carbon and Elkem Technology.
 
At the meeting, CEO Helge Aasen welcomed the minister and Odd Olsen of Elkem Carbon Fiskaa, Ragnar Tronstad of Elkem Technology and Geir Ausland of Elkem Solar presented some of the initiatives Elkem have in the area of energy recovery, emissions reductions and R&D. In the end, the Minister was given a tour of Elkem Solar, which was not in operation the last time she visited.
