[Ferro-Alloys.com] In recent period, high Si containing silicon manganese in China failed to in good shape. Ex-work price of 6027 concentrated on RMB6,700-6,800/mt, and some as high as RMB6,900/mt.

On the one hand, stainless steel 200 output saw a sharp downtrend further in China; On the other hand, worse performance of silicon manganese 6517 allowed more Chinese producers to choose to produce high Si containing silicon manganese, which in turn aggravated market competition.

In short, given flat demand and ample supply, it is estimated that high Si containing silicon manganese future market would be not optimistic.
