[Ferro-Alloys.com]It seems that silicon manganese producers in North failed to dip quotation as steel mills anticipiantion. Instead of RMB100-150/mt downtrend for steelmakers bidding, most silicon manganese producers only put sale price slip by RMB50-100/mt. More than that, continued falling sale price of silicon manganese in north areas brought about low inventories for suppliers because many of them had to choose to produce according to orders. It is said that mainstream transaction price for 6517 in Ningxia concentrated on RMB5,150-5,200/mt. Despite a little big tight supply in some places, it is estimated that market to show pick up may still need some time.
