Canada’s Sherritt International Corporation said the nickel output for the Ambatovy Joint Venture totaled 3,874 tons (100% basis) in May, up by 24.6% compared to the last month. 

Meanwhile, the output of cobalt totaled 257 tons, increasing from 126 tons in the previous month. 

The company expects to produce around 47,000~52,000 tons of nickel in this year, despite a drop in March.
