Major suppliers in August (first eight months in parentheses) were: South Africa, 4,288.2 mt (23,993.5 mt); Brazil, 2,243.2 mt (40,048.4 mt); Thailand, 1,530 mt (6,064.6 mt); Canada, 1,462.1 mt (6,708.4 mt); Norway, 592.4 mt (6,486.9 mt); Spain, 540.3 mt (5,050 mt); France, 360 mt (1,807.6 mt); and Australia, 355.8 mt (6,018.1 mt).
