The procurement price saw slight drops of more or less degrees for steel plants with their tender notices coming out constantly June ,in particular of plants in East and Southern China who cut it notably. It was learned that due to a tightening spot supply in some areas, the quotation for SiMn 6517# fluctuate slightly at present while the quotation for SiMn6014# dropped gradually in response to a continuous weak demand.

Mainstream ex-factory price without tax for SiMn6014# reached about RMB 4,400 per ton in Guangxi, 4400—4500 in Henan, the same  in Guizhou.

In an overall view, when will the price for Ferro-Silico-Manganese cease dropping or rebound is hard to predict. It is estimated that the price for Ferro-Silico-Manganese in June would continue its fluctuation in low price .
