Since new round bidding from steel mills maintained uncertain. Chinese traders hold cautious on purchasing. As for non-standard silicon manganese, flat demand gave rise to poor performance on spot market. In recent period, price of silicon manganese 50 was quoted at RMB3,900/mt without tax in Guangxi, while RMB4,300/mt for 55#. In addition, price of 58# was concentrated on RMB4,200/mt. Despite price dropped to the bottom line, participants seemed to still lack of confidence on future market.
