[Ferro-Alloys.com]It seems that shrinking operation rates for silicon manganese failed to make the downtrend sale put on the brake in the whole July. Given contracted demand of steel mills, slowing consuming coupled with capital pressure allowed parts of silicon manganese producers to keep edging down the price which weigh heavily on silicon manganese spot. By the end of the month, as increasing number of steel mills began to release new round purchase plan, related person from one big steel mill in Hebei area said that the mill still tend to continue to trim August bidding on silicon manganese. Since the mill as indicator of purchase price for manganese alloy, it is predicted that the likelihood of declining tendency for silicon manganese still would be great.
