[Ferro-Alloys.com] Profits for cored wires are fast dropping. Some enterprises are operating under capacity and cut their outputs, shifting focus to other businesses.

Correspondent from ferro-alloys.com contacted with some enterprises at random and found that quite a number of them had halted cored wires productions.

Anyang Henghai Metallurgical Materials Co., Ltd halted its 2 lines making CaSi cored wires; Anyang Northern Metallurgy Refractory Co., Ltd which has 4 lines, had stopped production 3 months ago; Anyang Ruixiang Metallurgical Materials Co., Ltd halted its 4 lines since entering 2015.

All these 3 companies are engaged in making alloys and metallurgy refractory materials. On rainy days for cored wires, they are focusing on other industries and wait for market change.
