[Ferro-Alloys.com]As the same of last week, low grade nickel ore 0.9-1.1 mainly quoted at 150-170yuan per wet tone, middle grade nickel ore 1.5 mainly quoted at 240-260yuan per wet tone, high grade nickel ore 1.8 mainly quoted at 430-450yuan per wet tone.

The domestic twelve main ports’ nickel ore stock was 14,750,000 tones, shed 450,000 tones or down 2.96 percent monthly, and reduced 6,750,000 tones or down 31.4 percent yearly, which including Philippine nickel ore 12,550,000 tones and Indonesian nickel ore 2,200,000 tones.

Nickel middle grade ore future 1.5 mainly quoted at 30-32 dollars per wet tone, up 1 dollar weekly and other kinds of nickel ore futures did not make much change compared to last week. The low grade nickel ore future still mainly quoted at 16-18 dollars per wet tone, and high grade nickel ore future still mainly quoted at 50-51 dollars per wet tone (CIF).

According to China’s Bureau of Statistics, China totally imported nickel ore 3,987,000 tones in September, increased 86,000 tones monthly and decreased 660,000 tones, which including Philippine nickel ore 3,847,000 tones and Indonesian nickel ore 73,000 tones. Recently, middle nickel ore obviously showed a shortage when the rainy season is coming in Philippine and its outer disc price was temporarily underpinned, combined with some northern factories ready to stock for the winter, the nickel ore market expected to rebound in a short term.
