During January-August this year, Mexico imported 421,000 tons of steel in China, an increase of 44% year on year, which became Latin America's third largest imports steel country in Asia. The first two countries were Brazil and Chile, Brazil imported 928,000 tons of steel from China and Chile imported 793,000 tons for steel from China, respectively.
